USA Boxes Recycle is a reuse-first packaging company in North Salt Lake, Utah. Since 2009 we have bought, sold, reconditioned, transported and recycled used — and sometimes new — boxes, Gaylord bins, pallets and the upcycled goods made from them. Our promise is simple and absolute: nothing we touch is sent to a landfill.
Our mission
To make reuse the default, not the exception. Every year the U.S. throws away millions of perfectly serviceable boxes and bulk containers because reselling them looked harder than trashing them. We built the logistics, the grading discipline and the freight network that make the circular choice the easy one — for warehouses, manufacturers, growers and municipalities alike.
The reuse-first philosophy
Recycling is good; reuse is far better. Pulping a corrugated box back into fiber consumes water and energy and shortens the fiber every cycle. Keeping that same box in service — sometimes five, ten or more times — extracts every bit of value the tree already gave. So we grade relentlessly, recondition what can be saved, and reserve recycling for board that has genuinely reached the end of its useful life. It is not a marketing angle. It is the entire business model.

Almost anyone can haul cardboard to a mill. What is rare is an operation built, from the dock outward, to keep the box whole and working. Here is where that shows up.
Reuse-first, not recycle-first
A used box is resold or reconditioned before anyone considers pulping it. Most vendors skip straight to recycling — the lowest rung that still counts as responsible.
A typical broker sends fiber to a mill and calls it green. We keep the box whole and working for as many cycles as it has left.
Graded product, not a gamble
Every box and Gaylord is inspected for wall type, crush, moisture and cleanliness and sorted into A/B/C tiers you can order against by name.
Buying used usually means hoping the pallet matches the photo. Here the grade is the spec, and the spec is honored load after load.
Freight designed to cut carbon
We fill empty return legs with boxes headed to a second home, so the same truck moves twice the value at a fraction of the footprint.
Ordinary logistics runs half the miles empty. Backhaul and consolidated LTL turn that waste into savings you can see on the invoice.
Numbers you can put in a report
Tonnage reused versus recycled is tracked per account and handed to your ESG team as documented diversion data.
Sustainability claims are usually vibes. Ours are auditable line items your CSR disclosure can cite.
Small, senior, and reachable.
We are intentionally a lean company. There is no call center, no offshore ticket queue, and no phone tree — by design. When you write to us, a person who actually knows boxes, freight and grading reads it and replies. Leadership works the same inbox as everyone else.
That flat structure is not just a courtesy; it is how we keep quality high. The people setting the grading standard are the people who answer your questions about it. Nothing gets lost in translation between the dock and the deal.
