Reuse triage
Anything still shippable is pulled for resale before recycling.

Bale & haul
Remaining fiber is baled (OCC) and moved to mills.
The remaining fiber is baled as OCC (old corrugated containers) to mill specification and moved to paper mills that pulp it into new board.

Recycling economics swing with the global OCC market, so we quote against current conditions rather than a fixed rate. Clean, baled corrugated can even carry rebate value back to you; contaminated or loose material costs more to handle. The reuse triage that comes first is what most protects your bottom line.

One-time clean-outs are scheduled around available lanes, usually within one to two weeks; recurring accounts run on a fixed pickup cadence sized to how fast you fill.
Nothing we touch goes to landfill. Reuse comes first, fiber recycling second, and end-of-life board is routed to upcycled goods before it is ever pulped — that ladder is the whole point of the service and the number we report back to you.
What this looks like in practice
A grocery distribution center was paying to landfill a share of its backroom corrugated because loads were mixed and partly contaminated. We set a weekly pickup, pulled reusable bins off the top for resale, baled the clean OCC to mill spec, and handled the waxed produce boxes separately — moving them from a partial diversion rate to effectively zero landfill with monthly tonnage reports.

Do you provide diversion reports?
Yes. We document tonnage reused versus recycled so you can report landfill-diversion metrics for ESG and sustainability goals.
Do you handle contaminated or waxed corrugated?
Yes. Wax-coated, filmed and lightly food-soiled loads that many haulers reject are routed to the right mill or process. We separate them so they do not downgrade your clean OCC.
Can baled OCC earn us money?
Sometimes. Clean, well-baled corrugated can carry rebate value depending on the current OCC market. We are transparent about which way the number points at quote time.
What exactly is in a diversion report?
Tonnage collected, the split between reused and recycled, and the resulting landfill-diversion rate over the period — audit-ready for ESG disclosures.
Is reuse really better than recycling?
Yes, on both counts. Reuse keeps existing board in service with almost no processing energy, while recycling still requires pulping and re-manufacturing. That is why we triage for reuse first.
