Answer first

USA Boxes Recycle hires dock and grading crew, reconditioning technicians, logistics coordinators and circular sales specialists at our North Salt Lake, UT base. Our culture

The kind of people we hire.

We look for people who see a used box the way we do — as something valuable, not disposable. That means dock crews who take pride in an honest grade, logistics minds who love turning empty miles into full ones, and salespeople who would rather tell the truth than close a bad deal.

We are small enough that your work is visible and big enough that it reaches customers coast to coast. There is no hiding behind process here, and no phone tree to disappear into — internally or externally. We answer each other the same way we answer customers: promptly, honestly, and by email.

What we value in a teammate
  • Takes reuse-first seriously — landfill is off the table.
  • Grades and communicates honestly, every time.
  • Looks for the lower-carbon, lower-cost path.
  • Answers the email. Always.

Who gets hired here

The profile that fits our floor.

We hire for reuse-first instincts more than for a specific résumé. If these sound like you, we want to hear from you — whether or not one of the roles below is an exact match.

Reliability over résuméShowing up, working safely and grading honestly beats a long CV. For operations roles, attitude is the qualification.
A reuse-first instinctPeople who look at a scuffed box and see a fixable asset — not trash — thrive here. That instinct cannot be taught, but it can be hired.
Straight communicationWe answer every email, internally and externally. We want people who say what they mean, flag problems early, and follow through.
Curiosity about the loopThe best teammates want to understand why reuse beats recycling — because caring about the mission is what keeps the standard high.
Why work here

A mission you can measure — and benefits that back it up.

Work that matters

Every shift keeps real material out of a landfill. The mission is not on a poster — it is on the dock.

Room to grow

A lean, growing company means real responsibility early and a clear line of sight to where you can go next.

Solid benefits

Health coverage, paid time off, and retirement contributions — the fundamentals, done right.

A no-runaround culture

We keep no phone line and still answer every email. That respect for people applies internally, too.

We train grading

You do not need a packaging résumé for dock roles. We teach the A/B/C standard; you bring the work ethic.

Steady, humane hours

Predictable weekday shifts with Saturday pickups by appointment — not a churn machine.

Open roles

Where we could use you right now.

Apply to any of these with the form above, or email hello@usaboxesrecycle.com with the subject "Careers" and the role name.

A day on the floor

What the work actually looks like.

No two loads are identical, but the rhythm of a reuse-first day is steady. Here is roughly how a shift flows from the dock outward.

Morning

Inbound trailers are met at the dock. Loads get logged, unloaded and staged for grading. A backhaul that arrived overnight becomes the day's first inventory.

Midday

Grading is in full swing: boxes and Gaylords assessed for wall, crush, moisture and cleanliness, then routed to reuse, reconditioning or the upcycle line. Orders are pulled and staged in parallel.

Afternoon

Reconditioning restores the borderline units — tape, flaps, trim, re-grade. Outbound trailers get loaded on lanes built to run full, and tomorrow's pickups get scheduled.

Any time

Someone, somewhere, answers a customer email — because that is how this place runs, from the dock to the front office.

How to apply

Three steps, no phone tag.

Applying here is deliberately simple. There is no portal to fight, no automated screener — just a real person reading a real message.

Careers FAQ

How do I apply?

Use the request form on this page, or email hello@usaboxesrecycle.com with the subject line "Careers." Tell us the role you're interested in and attach a résumé or a short note about your experience. We answer every email, usually within a business day.

There's no phone number — how will I hear back?

Correct — this company keeps no phone line by design. We reply by email, and we reply to everyone. Please double-check that your email address is correct so our response reaches you.

Do I need packaging or logistics experience?

For dock and grading roles, a good work ethic and willingness to learn matter more than a specific résumé — we train grading. For logistics and sales roles, relevant experience helps, but curiosity about circular supply chains helps just as much.

I don't see my ideal role listed. Should I still reach out?

Yes. We grow steadily and value people who fit our reuse-first culture. Email us with the subject "Careers," tell us what you do best, and where you think you could help.

Think you belong on the dock — or in the lanes?

Introduce yourself. Use the form on this page, or email us with the subject "Careers." No phone, no runaround — we answer every message.
